The Wunder´s Leptospira Research and Diagnostic Laboratory at the University of Connecticut (UConn) is dedicated to advancing the knowledge, diagnosis, and control of this zoonotic bacterium through rigorous scientific research, specialized academic training, and high-quality diagnostic services. Guided by the One Health approach, the laboratory promotes human, animal, and environmental health by integrating knowledge and capacities to address the epidemiological challenges posed by Leptospira in both local and global contexts.
